Our Richmond based warehousing company has an immediate opening for a customer service coordinator.
Candidate Profile
As an integral part of the company team, the Customer Service Coordinator (CSC) acts as the liaison between the customer and the warehouse. As the first point of contact for the customer, the CSC interacts with customers to make booking appointments and track the arrival of shipments. The CSC is responsible for resolving problems or concerns with production or shipping delays, quality-control issues, such as damaged or improperly packed goods, and client deadlines. The CSC projects a positive and professional image at all times, assisting customers promptly and conducting all business in a friendly, courteous and knowledgeable manner.
The ideal candidate is a well organized and self motivated individual who will ensure that customers are highly regarded and receive exceptional service during the shipping and receiving of products to and from the warehouse. The ideal candidate is able to anticipate and defuse potential problems, which could include face-to-face, phone or email interactions with customers.
Knowledge and Experience
High school diploma
1-2 years of experience in warehouse and freight logistics
Hours of Work
Monday-Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
