Senior Customer / Field Installation Engineer needed

Senior Customer / Field Installation Engineer (Ottawa, full time)
- Responsible for product system installations & trials at customer sites.
- As the on-site customer prime, the major focus will encompass ensuring the
timely planning, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and
operational functions for successful system deliverables.
- In addition, the Customer Engineer will be responsible to provide end-user
training and, as may be required, pre-sales engineering support.

Skills & Qualifications
- 5-10+ years experience in a related Systems Customer/Field Engineer role
- Network computer system knowledge and troubleshooting experience
- Knowledge of storage networking administration
- Linux systems administration
- Benchmarking techniques and knowledge an asset
- Experience interacting with customers with the ability to identify &
translate technical issues into understandable customer value/solutions
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- B.Sc./BE degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
degree
- Ability to travel throughout North America and internationally on a very
frequent basis is required.
